Dear Secret Santa,

I'm a pretty easy to please person, but KH is my OTL - within that fandom, my OTP is Zemyx/Dexion HOWEVER YOU WANT IT. I like it angsty, cracky, fluffy or even full of delicious snark and random, or even any combination thereof! Zexion is by far my favourite characters (I jokingly claim him as my male me), but I <3 Vexen, Lexaeus, Demyx hardcore. I also have a soft spot for Xigbar and Xaldin being utterly random and possibly randy as rabbits. XD

As for FF, I adore Leon/Cloud, but I wouldn't turn down anything involving Quistis or Cissnei as far as the ladies go. ^__~

Oh yes, any silly/random/perverse/obscure music or literary references are always welcome!

So not much has happened since the last journal aside from the whole Toracon thing - much fun was had although the weather tried to melt and I to death. I have to say though, I was very disappointed with their organization this year - normally the Anime Club kids do a better job but they kinda fell short. Very sad.

Connecticon is coming up in about 1.5 months - end of July - I'm hella looking forward to it! I get to see my and also get to spend some time away from home!

Speaking of which, plans are in the works to finally move out of the parentals' house - all the way to Seattle, WA! *fingers crossed* Right now, end of April '10 is the tentative date, but it depends on if I can secure a job while still here on the East coast, how much I can save up, if I can acquire a vehicle that will a) survive the cross-country drive and b) fit my dog, cat and CRAP. But things are looking somewhat hopeful.

Yes kids, it's that time of the year again! Convention season! This year I'll only be going to two cons due to the combination of money and time/work. Doing two back to back last year just about killed me and ... we learned our lesson that doing that is a Bad Idea.

So what cons this year?

ToraCon in Rochester, NY on 25 April -- it's a small one-day con held by the RIT Anime Club but it's a lot of fun, local and cheap.

ConnectiCon in Hartford, CT 31 July - 2 August -- my all-time fav con! It's full of awesome sci-fi, fantasy, comic books, anime, games and webcomics! Anyone who can go totally should!

As for who I'll be taking, I'm definitely taking Zexion to CTcon, along with Robin Sena. If I can get the stuff together for it, I might make Cissnei to go with 's Reno, which shouldn't be too hard. I've ordered a new wig for revamping Zexion and I'm hoping to order a compression shirt - just gotta decide which one to get from Underworks. ^__^ Fun times are ahead! Hopefully I'll actually get pictures of my own outfits this year!

1. I absolutely adore cosplaying! Designing an outfit, wearing it, everything!
2. I utterly loathe having my photo taken. I am completely unphotogenic.
3. I have a bit of an obsession with music - I have over 20G of music on my computer and I am constantly on the search for more.
4. Kingdom Hearts is my anti-drug and makes me happy - I love the games & manga, and I love discussing theories about backstory and the characters.
5. Throughout elementary, high school and college I played alto sax, sitting in first chair for a large portion of that time. I really miss playing now that I've been out of college for 3 years.
6. Role-playing is a fantastically fun hobby of mine. I started out with DnD and have since moved on to roleplaying online in the Kingdom Hearts fandom.
7. I find co-writing to be an incredibly fun experience - it's great having someone else to bounce ideas off from and another mind to prod when your personal muses are misbehaving.
8. Someday I would love to have my stories published. This, of course, involves actually finishing said stories. >_O
